Port of Oakland Expansion
D & A provided systems to the Port of Oakland for monitoring
water quality impacts from dredging and construction of new berthing
and freight handling facilities. Buoy systems with OBS-3As
deployed in control and dredging areas have monitored turbidity
and total suspended solids continuously since 2000. The moorings
operated for the project are visited biweekly and data are offloaded
with a PC operated from a workboat.
