D & A provided OBS-3As to log suspended
sediments near dredging operations for port expansion in the Persian
Gulf. Vertical profiles were made daily at several baseline stations
far from the project and at sites adjacent to the dredging operations
to ensure that SSC level were maintained below threshold limits
set by local water-quality authorities.
